Coffee Scrub! may sound weird hey?? but it's a massive craze at the moment and I get it!
if it wasn't for a friend showing me Frank body scrub in 2014 I would have no idea!
I was pregnant at the time and was a bit hesitant in using it but when I finally did I was hooked!!
My sisters and my Self have pretty bad Keratosis Pilaris, which is a build up of the protein keratin that plugs the hair follicles producing red bumps that look like pimples all over the upper arms, there isn't really any treatments for it and its not life threatening or anything but just doesn't look very nice...
I noticed that when using the frank coffee scrub to exfoliate my upper arms the pimples seem to ease and now after two years of using the product three times a week I hardly have the symptoms of Keratosis Pilaris !!
coffee scrub has also helped with my stretch marks from pregnancy, they are hardly noticeable after a year! all because of the amazing caffeine that helps tighten the skin, coffee scrub is also amazing in reducing the dark circles under the eyes and helps fight premature skin aging like wrinkles, sun spots and fine lines!!
no need for all that expensive chemical laced products !
Recipe
250g groud coffee ( preferably orangic and fair trade)
50ml melted coconut oil
zest of 1 orange
50g raw cocoa powder
50g sea salt
simply mix all together and leave in a air tight container.
it takes about 2-3tbs to exfoliate the whole body I do also use this on my face and my skin feels amazing after :) I always moisterize with organic coconut oil to finish.. my skin has never looked and felt so good give it a try :)
